1. West Coast Trugkar Picnic July5-7 2007   [170 pictures] The Tibetan Association of Washington is pleased and honored to have the opportunity to host the 2007 WEST COAST PICNIC. View in pictures the celebration of West Coast Picnic on the event of His Holiness the Dalai Lamas Birthday Celebration.

2. Panchen Lama 18th Birthday celebration April 25 2007   [12 pictures] On April 25th 2007, Seattle Tibetan Youth Congress organized the Panchen Lama's 18th Birthday celebration along with Candle Vigil at Green Lake

3. Uprising Day March 10, 2007   [68 pictures] Tibet support groups from Seattle, Vancouver BC, Tibetan Association of Washington and Tibetan Youth Congress of Portland jointly protested against the continued illegal Chinese occupation of Tibet and for Tibet's Independence in front of the Chinese consulate in Vancouver BC

4. Losar Get-together 2007   [50 pictures] Tibetan Association of Washington celebrated losar on February 18th, 2007 at Ballard Community Center from 5:00pm till midnight. Kids took part in a variety of games. TAW hosted the dinner for the event.

5. Tibet Fest 2006   [25 pictures] The mystic culture of Tibet came alive at Seattle Center with the theme “Tibet through the sound of music and rhythms of quick step dances". The Tibetan Association of Washington proudly presented its 11th annual Tibet Fest, a Seattle Center Festal Cultural Festival.

6. Hu Jintao visit to Seattle on April 18, 2006   [5 pictures] Tibetans from Portland, Oregon, Vancouver and Seattle protested the U.S. arrival of the President of China. The Tibetan Youth Congress (TYC) Chapters of Seattle and Portland/Vancouver organized the procession jointly.

7. Uprising Day March 10 2006   [11 pictures] Tibetan Youth Congress of Seattle and Student for Free Tibet organized the March 10th Tibetan National Uprising Day event. Many Tibetans and the friends of Tibet gathered in front of the Westlake mall. The procession lasted till 5:30 pm in the cold wind and rain

8. Losar Get-together 2006   [40 pictures] On March 4th 2006, Tibetan Association of Washington celebrated Year of Fire Dog Losar get-together at North Seattle Community College Cafeteria.

9. Tibet Fest 2005   [26 pictures] Tibet Fest 2005 was a success and we were honored to have Seattle Mayor Greg Nickels among us who opened the Festival by lighting the Yak Butter Lamp of Love, Peace and Compassion.
