Dear Community Members, we will be holding semi-annual community meeting and voter registration for the Kalon Tripa election.  Kindly bring your

Green book for election commission stamp which is required to vote. We are going to make it a potluck event so come with your entire family and delicious gourmet food.

It’s been over six months since our new board members took over the responsibility of TAW.  Lot has happened during this short time and we have many other things to look forward to in coming months.

Though we as board member have collectively made many decisions, in organizing activities in the best interest and for the benefit of our
community, there might still be opportunity for us to make or do things better and that can only happen if our community as whole is actively
engaged.  With this firm belief, we would like to organize first semi-annual community meeting and will continue to do so during our term.
With this meeting we hope to accomplish the following:

• 1.      Update of things done for the past six months and clear understanding of job responsibility of each board member.
• 2.      Give an opportunity for our community members to have their voice heard, to raise their concerns and offer constructive criticism of work by TAW board.
• 3.      Listen to new ideas from community members to make TAW better.
• 4.      How to improve Tibetan (written & spoken) & Cultural education for our youth.
• 5.      Answer questions on Kalon Tripa election & the First Conference of the Tibetan People and CTA.
• 6.      Important announcements

We urge everyone to attend since it is OUR meeting and it’s in our hands to take TAW to next level.  Success of an organization is measured by
participation and involvement of its member.  We can make TAW our pride and other Tibetan organization’s envy.

This meeting will be followed by Potluck so please bring your whole family along with your gourmet food.  TAW will serve Tea and snacks.
